1.3 - If You Have a Disc Herniation, Watch This

3 mins

This is a quick tutorial for those with disc herniations. There is a PDF attached to this lesson discussing the differences between herniation and stenosis. Please stay away from deep forward bends and twists (there are none in this series) if you have a herniation. You may also want to limit or avoid child’s pose, knees into chest, or even cat pose, depending on the level and how recently the herniation occurred. Everyone is different: do the pain assessments and journaling to get a sense of what does and doesn't work for your body. Do what feels good for you.
